Eros Teasing Centaur

Available in both twill and organza silk – 59×59 and 95×95 cm

Centaur is teased by Eros or Cupid (influenced by the a Greek original sculpture of the second century B.C) Eros as a symbol of love, ”plays” with the ”emotional immobility” of the Centaur and the fact that Love does not excite him so much and prefers to follow his animal instinct instead of falling into Eros nets. This could happen even nowadays, when people resist Love because of lack of time, or mood, or…So that makes Eros, a hero , if finally achieves to ”enter” people’s life, a hero in the crowd of everydayness, where everybody looks so indifferent and not so willing to be enchanted by Eros magical powers. 🙂
